About High Tech Systems Park

High Tech Systems Park is the innovation campus that is developed at the former Thales premises in Hengelo, the Netherlands. Companies located at the High Tech Systems Park share the mission of innovating faster and believing in cooperation. They also believe in talented people and technical talent as the driver for those innovations. Therefore, High Tech Systems Park provides these companies the attractive environment and facilities they need as modern employers.

Fieldlabs for innovation

In order to innovate faster, companies join forces in open innovation initiatives and strategic partnerships. One way to organise this, is by using fieldlabs. At High Tech Systems Park two fieldlabs have set up their offices which includes several projects. Two fieldlabs have been opened so far:

  • Fieldlab The Garden: Security in Smart Industry. The Garden focuses on cybersecurity and secure online collaboration. Consequently, it delivers products and services which support the safe, reliable and real-time exchange of data and information. Currently, there are three projects in this fieldlab: E-PLM, SDSI and MORe.
  • Bronnet: Smart Thermal Grid. Bronnet is a sustainable and smart heat network which provides the buildings at the High Tech Systems Park of warmth and cold. In addition to the sustainable energy supply, Bronnet also offers the opportunity to develop innovations and testing it in a live network.

High Tech Systems Park attractive work environment for technical talent

Talented and skilled professionals are the basis of successful companies. In attracting those employees, modern work environment and culture play an important part. The development of the High Tech Systems Park is according to modern standards, because working with each other in a green and inspirational environment is key. The design of the infrastructure encourages meetings and cooperation. You can read all about this in our Masterplan Area Development (in Dutch). The Dutch Audience acknowledged our inspiring environment that we have created, and awarded our new facilities ‘The best Building Award‘ in 2015 as a result.
